It has a beautiful varnish and has a 2 piece striped wood back. This violin is perfect for beginning students who wish to purchase and not rent a violin. It holds up well to all the strains of practice. It is light, not too heavy, and allows for the beginner to feel more comfortable holding the violin. This violin comes with a case, new Red Label strings, and a new Becker bow. Because this is a lower price, we do not offer trials. Trials start on instruments above 800 USD.
